It’s 25 May 2024 2:00 AM, just after the Buddha Purnima, can still see the lasting effects of the auspicious day!
There will always be one guy who joins the trek out of no where. Who leads, follows and cares for all the trip members! Always breaks the ice between members, started giving him names and fixed with Charlie!
Initial trek was testing the physical strength and later the mental strength was tested too. Being a middle monkey chasing the 1st half of the batch and waiting for the second half of the batch while resting to restart. Stopped and enjoyed the view of the moon from each stage of the trek.
It was 4 AM and the moon still radiates all its shine!
The wind started roaring and the intensity started increasing where it was making the leaves of the trees flap rigorously which was imitating the sounds of the waterfalls.

Excited to see the sunrise and rushing all the way up to reach the top on time to witness the breathtaking view. Reached a point where each next step was carefully put forward, passing on the instructions to the next members!
Started to see the clouds more clearly as the darkness faded, it was equal to our eye sight and hanging on to the invisible thread. Walking past them and reached a portal. Yes a portal like structure and everyone passing through it one by one….
It was 5:30 AM
Life after crossing the portal was completely different, everything came alive! Birds started singing beautifully, never heard those beautiful sounds before, few started guessing the names of the birds, few imitating the sounds, appreciating the hugs of the clouds and the fresh wind tuning the body, mind and soul with nature!
It’s magical!
It was not the view yet, but my heart waited there long to soak in all the magic!
Fog and clouds played with each other being their best versions. Brushing our sweaty faces and soothing all the senses.
Charlie equally enjoyed the view!
Never I have seen such a balance in nature, you will agree with me too! It was 4,514 ft above sea level. Warmth on one side and cold on the other side, the solid structure in between cherishing the difference, making the most breathtaking and soul-satisfying view ever!
Turned back unlimited times wondering the magic of the nature! It was wild, free and beautiful on it’s own!
A romeo joined in to be the best partner in my magical picture!
The more we trekked towards the sky, the more we talked, the more we laughed, the more we motivated each other and liked being with each other.
