We often see people describing a happy place or a beautiful place as Heaven on Earth or a Piece of Heaven or feels like heaven. The alert rings in my brain as usual. We might compare the place with heaven when we find it as beautiful or peaceful or which cannot be described in words. But, have you noticed anytime that we have not seen heaven yet.
Heaven actually comes after death right? Who saw the Heaven and started comparing with Earth? Does heaven have waterfalls ? Beaches? Mountains ? Lakes ? birds ? animals ? Tress ? Who knows ?
Did we even think about that, before writing Heaven on earth ?
Why don’t we appreciate Earth itself ? Why do we have to compare with Heaven. Heaven might be beautiful and peaceful, we can appreciate that when we visit heaven though, but for now can we appreciate how beautiful our earth itself is!
Imagine the smell of earth when it rains! Is it the same in Heaven ? Is there any actual place called Heaven ?
Heaven is often described as eternal, peaceful, spiritual, divine, a place where right people reach.
By reading the above, how do you feel ? do you feel heaven as a place or a state of mind?
I think we describe the place on earth as heaven because we feel — eternal love, peace, spiritual, divine energy and we feel we are at right place. Not just the beauty of the place, it is the beautiful state of mind!
