Every road is different, every vehicle is different, every view is different.
Everyone’s speed is different, everyone’s style is different, everyone’s focus is different.
Every driving is influenced by weather situations, traffic laws and regulations, vehicle condition and the amount of time we drive the vehicle.
Everyone will not face the situation to use the emergency kit in the vehicle. Some paths requires the usage of defensive driving and sometimes airbags for protection.
Now can we compare the drivers ? vehicles ? roads ? speeds?
Can we match the intensity of person who used emergency kit during drive to the person who did not ?
Even if your in the same vehicle can you match the above the factors with others ?
When a person shares their journey does that mean even you have travelled the same ? even without knowing which vehicle they have used in what condition, which road they have taken, how many hours they have travelled without fatigue, what were the weather conditions, what were the traffic rules and signals used when changing directions, if they have faced any unforeseen conditions where they have used the emergency kit. We know driving does that mean we have the same driving experience ?
How do you understand others journey then? Is it possible ?
All the above factors are mostly subjective, which varies time to time. Even if you travel with the same conditions to experience the same as others, we may or may not match, the intensity may vary, it might be low or high.
Whenever you feel like others are not able to understand what you felt, now you understand what all factors they have to consider.
Now think if we can conclude on other’s journey, without understanding what all were the factors influenced in their journey ?
What can help us understand other journey then?
A sense of Empathy! Which is an ability to understand the feeling of others!
Listening, understanding, asking only right questions and feeling the perspective of others will help to emphasize their journey.
