Do you think a person who’s matured enough will try to convince others by saying “ I’m more mature, unlike others”.

Also do you believe if a person compliments that “ you’re mature enough”.

There are few who claims that there age is the sign of their maturity, is age is the only factor which defines maturity ?

I have seen worst in life than you. So, I’m more mature than you. Do you believe this kind of maturity ?

I have explored many places, I have interacted with different people, I have experienced various lifestyles. Do you think these are enough to be a matured person ?

So, what is the perfect definition of Maturity ? Can it be defined? in the first place.

Have you ever felt that you could’ve approached the situation in a better way today because you feel, you are more matured now than last year!

or

Have you ever thought of various possibilities today for the incident which happened 2 or 3 years back?

And

Can you be sure that the possibilities, answers and ways to approach will remain same even after 2 or 3 years later, from today ?

Even for a matter of fact, if you rethink the words or thoughts deeply, you will have numerous outcomes just a minute later, right?

We grow every second, every minute, every hour, every day, it’s a continuous process. We may not claim that we have reached this destination and now we are mature than others. There is no stop or no destination for maturity.

Let’s try to understand the above questions.

When we hear someone who says – I’m mature enough, unlike others. First thing,do you think matured people will try to compare with others ? also do mature people will put others down to prove their level of maturity ? and do they even be verbal about their maturity ?

Also do you believe if a person compliments that “ you’re mature enough”. Do mature people feel happy when someone compliments like you are a matured person? How do you judge others maturity? What’s the definition of maturity who compliments others about their maturity?

There are few who claims that there age is the sign of their maturity, is age is the only factor which defines maturity ? Physically mature, yes. What about the other types of maturity ? Evolution of thought process, emotional maturity, intellectual maturity, psychological maturity, financial maturity etc….

I have explored many places, I have interacted with different people, I have experienced various lifestyles. Do you think these are enough to be a matured person ? Yes, the perspective might have evolved and broaden due to greater exposure and different learning but is there any end to it. World is huge, there is a lesson and learning at each and every corner, it’s never ending…

Also there’s one more set of people, who claims to be matured and who knows everything about life and puts others down.

Immaturity is thinking that Intelligence, beauty, money, fame and smartness are the eligible factors to humiliate others.

What would be the maturity signs,

  1. Being true to self and accepting one’s highs and lows.
  2. Good and clear communication.
  3. Understanding and respecting diverse perspectives.
  4. Accepting that it is a continuous process of positive growth and improvement.
  5. Understanding and assessing our behaviour and thought process regularly.
  6. Being open to healthy discussions, feedback and using them to grow stronger and wiser everyday.
  7. Understanding and managing one’s resources effectively.
  8. Informed and thoughtful decision making.
  9. Providing and receiving critics in a healthy way.
  10. Owning self made mistakes without complaining and blaming others.
  11. Balancing emotions and learning to be stable and flexible to be ready in every thick and thin’s in life.
  12. Understanding self and others moral and ethical compass.

Etc, are some which I can think of as on date! May be after reading this after an year, even I can develop more viewpoints heheh!

So

My conclusion for the day is

Definition of Maturity changes according to the Maturity levels!
